California Supreme Court Overturns Gay Marriage Ban
State Supreme Court says same-sex couples have right to marry
Hope the voters keep it in November. But this is a big state with some backward counties.

Obama depicted as Curious George on Tshirt... News reporter says there is defense for the shirt, but I see only white guys defending...
Everyone has seen the old clip of O'Reilly going O'Looney. But now comes the very funny DANCE VERSION. Lawd, I laughed. Don't watch around kiddies because frequent use of the F word.
a reminder of how fanfuckingtastic eddie izzard is:
it's hilarious how they've done it with the legos.
i miss his standup so much. don't get me wrong, loving him in the riches, but he's not making me laugh in it. i wish he'd go back to comedy ...
i ♥ eddie.
thanks

Six things that make my mom absolutely rock.
1) How she's always taken care of me when I've been ill, from the day I was born up to today when I'm still coughing my lungs up.
2) Her reputation as the cooking mom ("If you go over to wolvie's mom's place, she'll feed you lots of yummy food!")
3) Her sense of humor: she's always managed to keep a smile on her face at all times, brightening up even my worst days.
4) The fact that she's never ever raised her voice towards me, unless it's to warn me about an immediate life-threatening situation.
5) Her ability to allow me to make and live my own decisions, ever since I was a small child. She's supported me ever since I came out, she's never tethered me to a religion (instead allowing me to seek out the one that resonates with me), etc.
6) Despite everything that I've done, she's not only given me some of the best advice I've ever received when I've asked for it, but she's supported me in my decisions, no matter how tough the opposition is.
I love you, Mom. <3
(For those participating at home: post your 6 things here as usual, but I also want to tell these 6 things to your mother today. It doesn't matter if you can tell her face to face, over a phone call, over the internet, or even by snail mail. Tell her TODAY how much of an impact she's had on your life, and how much you appreciate her for it.)
